Global Annual CO2 Emissions
2011
In 2011, USA = 16%
1/3 from electric power generation
That’s about 5% of Global CO2 emissions from US
Power Plants
In 12 years, once China and India double their
emissions, the US power sector will be less
than 1% of Global emissions and will be
virtually irrevelant!!

The Cost to Reduce U.S.
Electric Sector CO2
Depending…….The devil is in the details
But some estimates predict electricity rates could
as much as
DOUBLE
With almost zero influence on global CO2 levels

Well, they have increased 8.5% since 1997.The US and Europe have REDUCED their emissions, but China and India have more than made up for that reduction.
In 2011, the US contributed 16% to global man-made CO2 emissions.1/3 of that total, or about 5%, came for electric power generation. So if the President to wave a magic wand and ELIMINATE all fossil fuels in the US, the worldwide impact would be only 5%.Realistic policies will not eliminate fossil fuels, they will only reduce them, so those people who say we need a regulation or legislation in the US in order to SAVE THE PLANET are, unfortunately, and I hate to say it, liars. As long as China and India continue to grow, it will not matter in the slightest what we do in the US.IPCC projections are that the impact of our policy changes may amount to only a tenth of a degree in warming by 2099, if you believe is such things.
