Law Updates:
 BSE has imposed fine on 370 companies for not complying with SEBI
norms to appoint at least one woman director on their respective
boards within the prescribed timelines.
 Government has approved Eleven (11) Proposals of Foreign Direct
Investment (FDI) amounting to Rs. 1,567.91 Crore approximately.
PROFESSIONALS INPUTS:
 MCA requested to use Online payment options (Credit/Debit/Prepaid
Card/Net Banking) for making payment of MCA fee for LLP e-forms
during 8-Oct-2015 to 18-Oct-2015. Offline payments through Bank
Challan, Pay later and NEFT options will not be available during this
period for LLP eForms. However, it will remain available for company
e-forms and other MCA services.
 Vide SEBI Circular No. CIR/MRD/DP/17/2015 October 08, 2015 SEBI
Reviewd capacity planning framework of stock exchanges and clearing
corporations.
 Vide RBI Notification No. RBI/2015-16/201 A. P. (DIR Series) Circular
No. 20 October 8, 2015 decided to allow all resident individuals, firms
and companies, who have actual or anticipated foreign exchange
exposures, to book foreign exchange forward and FCY-INR options
contracts up to USD 1,000,000 (USD one million) without any
requirement of documentation on the basis of a simple declaration.
 Vide RBI Notification No. RBI/2015-16/200 DBR.BP.BC.No. 44/
08.12.015/2015-16 dated October 8, 2015 RBI allows 90% loan to value
ratio for home loans up to Rs.30 lakh.
 Vide Notification RBI/2015-16/203 A. P. (DIR Series) Circular No. 21
October 08, 2015 RBI notified Memorandum of Procedure for
channeling transactions through Asian Clearing Union (ACU).

Naveen Tewari
Founder and CEO of InMobi
Naveen Tewari is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of InMobi, a
global mobile advertising and technology platform. He is the Board member of
Paytm.
Early life
Tewari grew up in the family of IIT Professors at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India
and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian
Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) in 2000. His professional journey began with McKinsey and
Company as a business analyst from 2000 to 2003 followed by a stint in 2004, at Charles River Ventures
as an Associate. In 2005, he studied at Harvard Business School (HBS) for Master’s degree in Business
Administration, where he was awarded the Dean’s Award, for exceptional leadership and contribution.
While at HBS, he also founded and chairs a U.S. based nonprofit called India Schoolhouse Fund which
funds and sets up schools in rural India.
Professional career
Mr. Naveen Tewari co-founded InMobi Technologies Private Limited in 2006 and serves as its Chief
Executive Officer. Mr. Tewari's journey started with McKinsey & Company, where he worked on
developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He
also worked with the top management of number of large software companies and consumer product
enterprises in India on various strategic issues. He joined Charles River Ventures. Mr. Tewari worked with
CRV on developing its India investment strategy. He also briefly worked with a mobile VoIP start-up,
vQube Inc., in Silicon Valley. He also founded India Schoolhouse Fund (ISF) and serves as its Chairman.
He serves as a Director of Mobile Marketing Association. At HBS, he was the recipient of its highest
honour "The Dean's Award" given for his exceptional leadership and contribution. He has a Master in
Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston.
