6. Service Activity Verifications

7. Meetings
Meetings are mandatory for ALL
members.
• ~1 NJHS meeting per month

•May (Induction Practice & Ceremony)

8. Officer Elections• PRESIDENT
– Opens meetings; Creates agendas with officers; Models appropriate
conduct; Plays a role in 8th
grade graduation
• VICE-PRESIDENT
– Helps run meetings; Models appropriate conduct; acts as President
when he/she is not able; Plays a role in 8th
grade graduation
• SECRETARY (2)
– Takes notes at meetings; Maintains NJHS calendar on eChalk; Models
appropriate conduct
• TREASURER
– Documents fundraising efforts and donations; Models appropriate
conduct
•HISTORIAN (3)
– Manages bulletin board; Documents activities; Models appropriate
conduct
**Elections will be held during our first meeting.
**Presidential Candidates will be asked to give a short speech explaining why
he/she would make a great NJHS President.
