Describe what was happening when
something else happened
Describe what used to happen on a regular
basis in the past
Describe people or settings in the past (age,
characteristics, weather, time, etc.)
DO NOT USE THE IMPERFECT TO DESCRIBE A
SPECIFIC COMPLETED ACTION IN THE PAST!!
