2. Why Publish Writing is published so it can be shared with others. There are countless ways to publish writing, however, the focus should be on enhancing the writing, not distracting the reader. A writing group can support a writer by offering suggestions for ways to publish, even pursuing different writing markets. Students have many opportunities to publish inside the classroom as well as outside. These vary from small sharing groups to entering contests on the Internet.
