The document provides a summary of Steve Coppage's education, experience, skills, and recommendations. It details that he received a Ph.D in Physics from Wesleyan University, where he conducted research on absolute state-to-state rate constants for reactions in Li vapor. He co-authored a publication on his findings and presented his work at several conferences. Additionally, he has experience in computer programming, consulting, and as a teaching assistant.

EXPERIENCE
Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, 2001 to 2009
Ph.D. in Experimental Atomic and Molecular Physics
Thesis:
Absolute State-to-State Rate Constants for Exchange Reactions and Inelastic Collisions in
Li2* + Li -> Li + Li2* Vapor. I measured Laser-Induced Fluorescence from Li vapor in a heat
pipe oven. Using a diode laser of our own construction, I collected the first absolute state-to-
state rate constants for the Li2* + Li exchange reaction. I used the results to fit a LEPS
potential using a novel technique that I programmed on the Wesleyan Academic Computing
Cluster.
Publication:
