for London 2012.
My name: the first Paralympic Games took place in
Stoke Mandeville in 1948.
I love trying new things and challenging myself to be the

morning and in the afternoon
8. We choose volleyball because it is a team sport,
that means it is carried out with several players
who are forming a team with the common goal of
winning. There are different positions such as
lift, riveter, blocker, libero. It is a sport with a lot
more communication to make plays than others,
by the friction between the players. Volleyball
players and other sports experience by playing.
9. Wheelchair Tennis
The wheelchair tennis is a sport that is practiced in over
80 countries.The rules are that the ball can sting 2
times and any player can let it play in a chair. The best
Argentinian player is called Gustavo Fernandez.
10. Basketball in wheelchairs
Basketball in wheelchairs was developed by U.S.
veterans of World War II. It currently develops in 80
countries worldwide.
11. Paralympic cycling
The paralympic cyclists are Rodrigo López y Alberto
Nattkemper. They are a good example to follow.
12. Paralympic football
The Bats are a football team from Argentina , they’re
blind and play football. In 2009 they won the silver
medal in Athens. The bats train in the CENARD three
times a week .
