On 1st March 2012, I go to the Bangkhuntian KMUTT. We discussed about water heater. Last
week, My group presented about the block diagram and part of circuits. But, it has many problems.
So, we must be to search more information.
My company just doing water heater which it has 3 main function.
- Display amount of water during bathing.
- Display temperature of water during device active.
- Control the temperature as close to the desired value.
Now, I have problem about quality of water which flow to boiler because if less water flows in
boiler it affects to warm water quickly so water is hot. In the other hand, if much water flows in
boiler it affects to warm water slowly so water is cool. And anything else.
Temperature control circuit in general water heater
look like dimmer circuit which it change load of
circuit.
Working of circuit
If gate of triac obtain current, triac will be working
by RC has function to control phase-shift at gate of
triac. Diac has to protection gate of triac when it has
surge current.

- If quality of water doesn’t constant, it will be affect to temperature control.
- Some method which we think it has problem such as price, using and etc.
Next Week Job
We obtain all conclusions of functions, function of buttons and specifications. And check circuit of
water heater.
