 Reviewing content, images, videos, activities and
assessment in current Gold Coast learning guides
for cutting cluster (9 units). Rewriting the content
for these topics in the unit SIHHHCS301A Design
haircut structures, including new images and
activities
 Anatomical influences
 Biological influences
 Elements and principles of design
 Haircut structures
 Haircut design factors
 Haircut design graphics
 Haircut plans
 Consultation
 Cut and chunked current TAFESW haircut
structure videos into a designated YouTube
channel – TAFE North Hairdressing
 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvQ8T5GlHyr8E25mfnL27yz
And added these into the topic documents where
applicable
 Have been granted permission to use Sharon
Blaine videos for long hair design ? With
appropriate attribution
 Have a master list of possible videos for review
and discussion and edits by PLC members at
today’s VC

 Reviewed and unpacked all of the hairdressing
Cyber-hair toolbox learning objects for review
and task ideas and modifications for use in the
cutting cluster, added in to topics where
applicable
 Care for clients and OH&S
 Analyse hair and scalp
 Prepare to cut hair
 Design long hair
 Design short hair
 Permanently wave and straighten hair
 Coordinate a team
 Colour hair
 Lightening hair

Videos: Review the current list of videos and add useful links
Images: Share photos of your salon and industry hairdressing salon

Audio: contribute to writing a small script explaining why a topic is
important? Volunteers needed to write and record scripts
