Claudio Piovesana, Founder & CEO
From 2013 to 2016, Claudio was the CEO of Lagardère Global Advertising, in Paris, managing a network of 23 sales offices and 80
people worldwide, selling over 300 media solutions, including 46 editions of ELLE magazine in print, mobile, digital, social media and
customized solutions for international brands.
Prior to that he worked at The Wall Street Journal as VP Sales EMEA and was Associate Publisher for WSJ Magazine. In his over 12
years with the company he was based in London, Paris and Milan, managing sales and marketing teams, launching new products, co-
working on creating and selling multi-channel platforms.
From 1996 to 1999, Claudio worked for Frost and Sullivan, a research and consulting company, as public relations manager.
Claudio studied at LCIBS College in London and is fluent in six languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Stefan Surzycki
Stefan has held high-level technology positions in both the US and Europe. Writing his first program at 8 years of age, he has
never looked back. Technology is his passion.
Stefan has been a speaker at the TTI/Vanguard Conferences. TTI/Vanguard members are senior-level business and technology
executives of Fortune 500 companies, responsible for creating and implementing strategic technological change within their
organisations.
In Paris, France, Stefan has founded and has served as the CEO and CTO of Jooce, successfully raising over 2M USD in seed funding
from one of Europe’s most distinguished Venture Capital firms, Mangrove Capital Partners. During this time, Stefan has helped
establish Jooce as a pioneer in the consumer cloud computing space, attracting the attention of the international press, including
Business Week, BBC, CNBC and CNN.
In a previous incarnation, Stefan was a leader in the field of Bioinformatics, discovering key principles that have changed the way
geneticists conceptualize higher-level genomic structures in multi-cellular organisms. His findings were published in leading peer-
reviewed scientific journals, including the highly respected Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.
He graduated from Indiana University Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and computer science.
