- measuring and marking out and cutting the panels.
Today, I finished working on my top, instead, I started to work on the panels
that support the top.
Today I used all the old tools. A tri-square, a pencil, a tenon saw and a pull
saw. I didn’t use any new tools. I used a tri-square and a pencil to do the measuring
and marking out step, and I used the tenon saw and a pull saw to cut the panels.
I checked my top first to make sure it didn’t have any problem, then I found
my final design sheet to find the teacher. The teacher gave me a long piece of
timber for the panels. After I measured it with the tri-square and the pencil, I started
to cut it. I cut it really fast today, I already cut down 4 panels in around 10 to 15
minutes. It’s the first time I cut it so fast. I still have one more piece to cut, then I
can sand it. Today was a easy lesson for me, because I have done all the
measuring and marking out and all the cutting before, therefore it was easy.
