Information on the life of the poet William Blake

1. A printmaker, a painter and a poet

2.  He first started his art with engraving
 For most of his painting he had a poem to go with it.
 Often very lode for that era.

3.  He lived in London for most of his life.
 He was the third of seven children
 The bible was a profound influence on all his works.
 He actually left school when he could just read and
write
 He became an apprentice engraver soon after for 7
years until he was 21.

4.  He was a poet, a painter and a printmaker
 Blake made attacks on religious views of his time.
 On the day of Blakes death he worked relentlessly on
his dante series.
 His poetic style is very unique and challenges the
views that were appropriate at the time.
