                           ACTIVITIES BOARD
                              Dalton State College

                           Mission Statement
                              The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a
                              student-run organization that strives to
                             enhance the Dalton State College student
                            experience through community development,
                                 quality entertainment, and creative
                           programming that enhances both the Office
                           of Student Activities mission and the Dalton
                               State College mission.  CAB provides a
                           variety of social, recreational, cultural and
                                        educational programs. 

                            Through the expertise of six (6) appointed
                           student executive board members, CAB works
                           to ensure leadership development, networking
                             with the college community, and building
                                campus traditions and school spirit.

CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
              EXECUTIVE BOARD
                 Learning Outcomes
       As a result of serving on the Campus
      Activities Executive Board, members will
                        learn:
     To constructively plan and implement a variety of campus programs
      that cater to the diverse Dalton State College student population.

          To effectively learn time management skills through juggling
                  academics and other co-curricular activities.

     To participate in campus governance through the Student Activities
              Council (SAC) and other campus-wide committees.

     To develop and enhance leadership abilities, ethical decision making      Summer Training
     skills, and healthy interpersonal relationships through a week-long
          CAB training, the required Registered Student Organization
      Leadership Retreat, and other on-campus leadership opportunities.

            Major: Marketing

              Supporting and attending

               all budget activity to
               ensure budgets are in

                                             Major: Social Work

      Hometown: Trion, Georgia                  Activities.
   Major: Early Childhood Education

SOCIAL CHAIR
                The CAB Social Chair             Jade Carter
                 is responsible for:
        Broadcasting, advertising, and
      introducing talented comedians on
                   campus.

        Hosting social events for Dalton
                 State students.

              Assisting students with fun
                  entertaining events.

        Allowing students to relax, kick    Hometown: Bangkok, Thailand
         back, and enjoy mid-day and              Major: Biology
              night performances.

              Diego Espinoza

                                          Bringing entertainment
                                             through friendly

                                         Planning tournaments to
                                           unite fellow students
                                            using table tennis,
                                         Billiard, volleyball, and
         Hometown: Durango, Mexico            gaming systems.
          Major: Registered Nursing

              Bringing the finer things in
                  life to Dalton State.

               educate students on social

           Committee with the completion     Hometown: Columbus, Georgia
                     of events.                 Major: Communications
