August 10, 2011 The researchers of this study promote a close partnership between 4 kinds of teachers (General Studies, Chinese, IT , and School Librarian) to maximize the learning supports for students. Proporsition: If we can maximize students’ needed support, we can help them maximize their learning

August 10, 2011 We got the data just a week ago. So I could only present some very basic statistical figures to you today SA+A = from 52% to 61% for the 5 items under the Learning aspect D+SD = from 8-12% Students' response to "A5. Use of Google Sites aided me in achieving project objects" was particularly high with 61% who agree or strongly agree with the statement, while those who were disagree or strongly disagree with the statement was only 8% which is the lowest among the 5 items. The ones highlighted in red indicates the majority of the responses for each the items.
August 10, 2011 Regarding motivation, SA+A = from 46% to 56% for the 5 items D+SD = from 9-14% These figures are quite comparable to those under Learning
August 10, 2011 For Group Interaction aspect, SA+A = from 46% to 53% for the 5 items D+SD = from 10-13% These figures are also comparable to those under Learning & Motivation
August 10, 2011 The results under Technology are also very similar to those under the other 3 constructs SA+A = from 47% to 62% for the 5 items D+SD = from 6-14% The average for the 20 items under the 4 aspects for SA+A was 53% while The average for the 20 items for D+SD was 11% P5 Students who were positive about the use of wiki for group project work were about 5 times more than those who viewed wiki negatively.

August 10, 2011 The first comment shows the importance of ensuring that all students will have a computer with internet access at home if Google Sites is expected to be used at home for project work If not, students need to be provided with more time they can use the computer at school so that they can have enough time to work on the project at school. This also suggests that the percentage of students who agreed that Google Sites is useful for group project work could be higher if all students have a computer with internet access at home. The 2 nd drawback here is .. In fact, the student didn’t realize that he/she can simply … This may suggest that students need more training and scaffold support in their use of wiki.
The good news is that the great majority of the students favored the use of wiki, Google Sites, for group project work But those who viewed wiki negatively still account for about 20% when compared to those who were positive about Google Sites. These students can be ignored Need computer with internet access at home Need more training or …
