•It is a virus: varicella zoster.

4. Characteristics of this
microorganism:
• Look like blisters all over their bodies. The
blisters are small and the skin is red.
Blisters can be very small or very big.

5. Which are the symptoms?
• Stuffy nose, sneezing, and a cough. But 1
to 2 days later, the Rash.

6. Treatment:
• Besides the rash, someone with
chickenpox might also have a
stomachache, a fever, and may just not
feel well.

7. What can I do to avoid infection?
• There is a chickenpox vaccine .
