Christ Embassy Makes Major Moves Towards Technological Advancement
1. Christ Embassy Makes Major Moves Towards Technological
Advancement
Embracing technology by adopting cutting-edge mobile applications ,the
deployment of various mobile technologies and has made a headway in
technological revolution by introducing a first of its kind social media
application from Africa by Africans, Rev Chris Oyakhilome has proven to
the world that what matters is not the fact that we have lived but the
difference we have made in the lives of others and this will determine the
significance of the life we lead.
One of the ways his ministry is making sure they stay abreast of recent
developments in technology is by organising media conferences where staff
are trained in workshops and practical training sessions.
Recently a Zonal Media Connectors' Conference for delegates was held in
Benin for rapid digital expansion. The Media Connectors'
2. Conference, hosted by Christ Embassy Benin Zone 3, pulled an exuberant
audience of 700 delegates in spite of the torrential downpour.
Featured at the timely conference were strategic workshops, super
sessions, highly interactive practical sessions and a most beneficial
question and answer forum. In addition, the throwback talk session
engaged outstanding media connectors, who vibrantly discussed the
impact of their work, following the IMCC they attended in the past ministry
year.
One of the insightful workshops trained the brethren on the RON Digital
Revolution. Pastor Oge Oketunji emphasised each one's role in embracing
the call to digital activism, clearly outlining strategies for taking particular
advantage of the ReachOut Campaign this year in order to spread into
every man's device and ultimately form disciples of our ministry and
message.
The Zonal Secretary of BLW Zone J, Pastor Henry Akasili, in an enlightening
expose tagged 'the Church, New Media and Impact Everywhere', charged the
congregants to become the catalysts for the change in this era of digital
evangelism, using our new media platforms as the vehicles to reach the
ends of the earth. "The world has become our parish; we are no longer local
champions. We are now global players!” he said.
3. In her plenary session titled 'the Message, the Mandate and the Medium', the
esteemed Zonal Pastor, Pastor Mary Owase challenged the delegates, each
committing to an active and increased participation towards specific goals,
especially through the 'Every Cell A Group on KingsChat' initiative.
In an effort to encourage the media personnel present, Special Recognition
Awards were presented to those who had distinguished themselves in the
use of and spread of Christ Embassy ministry apps and in the execution of
digital campaign outreaches in the outgoing year.
