this presentation shows garnier advert trying to advertise their product for hair .

1. Garnier _ hair care
This advert is for garnier which is for your hair and firstly the colours in the advert are
like greens, orange and sort of yellows. I think that they put these colours on the
advert, because they are like summer and very bright for the advert and they are like
hair colours for this advert and they all match all together nicely. Also they will like
lighten up the audience’s day, because they are nice colours and they attract the
audience. So I think they are very effective colures. so use this shampoo and it will
repair your hair, and of course the colour orange on the product it like is advertising
and meaning that it is fresh and will smell like that and so its not a horrible shampoo .
Thirdly as every one knows that greens a nice colour and it is used on all garnier
products so people will be able to recognise garnier straight away.
The angels are like positioned toward the person and she is like looking round and the
product they are advertising is like in the face of the audience so they can see the
product .also the camera angles are like making the person look relaxed, calm and
happy .this like gives you the idea of feeling good and looking good, and it is like
showing her hair and like saying the product made her hair shiny and alive because of
this product.
The product on the advert is on the right hand side of the advert, and I think it was put
there, because the audience want to have a very clear look of the product they are
selling and it like gives you beautiful, shiny hair when you put it on, and it only takes
60 seconds and there you have it, your hair is repaired and then it can be shiny with
all its strength and nice and silky.
The images on the product is mainly a women and she is posing to the side with her
repaired silky hair and is right next to the product .I think she is posing g like that
because they need to see some evidence of the hair because if she was turned around
looking at you, nobody would be able to see her hair .But still she is showing her face
a bit so that is also better.
The lightning on her is falling on her face to make her face look glowing and on her
hair to make it look really shiny and smooth.

2. the fonts are very good I think, because there is like green bold writing when saying
the main things about the product and then a bit of information which is quite small
which is better because it is not the main things about the product it is just talking
about it, but it is still it is like in a box so they know where the information is. I think
they used these fonts, because they want to make the writing and fonts standout and
look bold and attractive .I think this is linked to the product, because the fonts on the
product is very effective and bold and the fonts on the advert needs stand out so it can
look good and interesting, because if you just put normal boring fonts on nobody
would be interested.
The language is very common, but words like deep fortifying treatment instant
silkiener and garnier fructis are very good strong words that attract customers.
They also have alliteration which the words are 60 second silkiness and positive
words like silkiness and even for the driest, most damaged hair. The product has very
good, positive language.
The background is white and quite plain and it makes it stand out.
The slogan is (now your hair can shine with all its strength). It is on the right hand
corner and it is like bold and stands out so it’s in people’s face which is good. the
slogan is used it is very good and I think it is used because people know more
information on what we are advertising .
The website is very useful, because it tells you things like products for your skin, hair,
and body care and like where to buy and information how to take care of it so this
website I really think is good with lots of information on. I think it is important to
have the website because people need to know lots about the product and if they want
to find out more and other things they can get.
The target audience is I think young people like 16 year olds and older people like in
their 20s or 30s. I think this because old people might want things for their skin like
wrinkle stoof and young people like hair products to care and get your hair back to the
smooth shiny looking hair as it was and like repair it .
the appearance is I think it would show everywhere like in shops , on posters in
windows and on leaflets so people would know , but mainly hair salons because they
might have the products so either on windows on hairdresser salons or inside . I think
they would appear on there , because they are ,mainly where people would go past
and the posters would attract their attention more and its important to put them there
so they know people want you to know about there products .
