classified into two:
Renewable Resources- can be replace after
use provided that some seed stocks still
exist.
Non- Renewable Resources- can-
not be replaced or renewed once
used.
6. Concept Of Natural Resources
⢠The natural resources are the material
things of economic value which man did
not bring into existence.

man activities, plus the additional non-

⢠It is mostly consist of hardwood
Forests.
⢠It can be found in the regions of
low latitudes between the Tropic
of Capricorn and the Tropic of
Cancer.

⢠The mid-latitude forests are a
mixture of hardwood and
softwoods.
⢠The remaining virgin forests of
these regions can be found mostly
in the highlands of Europe and the
United States.

⢠The Northern Forest are more scattered
and the individual trees are smaller
compared to the tropical and mid-
latitude Forests.
⢠The Forest types are predominantly
Coniferous and many of the trees are
mainly for pulp wood rather than
lumber quality.

northern hemisphere, it lies mainly
north of the 40th parallel extending
poleward with in the humid to
severe winter climate.
