2. With a sharp pencil,
draw a line at the full
depth of the sulcus
Then carefully draw
another line 3mm above
the other all the way
around

4. Soften a single sheet of wax in the
bunsen flame and adapt it firmly
over the palate and into the full
depth of the sulcus

5. Check with your lecturer before
you apply a second sheet.
Seal the wax with a hot knife into
the depth of the sulcus
