• Sometimes we are too busy to take time
to do the things we need to do to keep
fresh.
• We need to regularly renew and
strengthen 4 key areas
– The Body
– The Brain
– The Heart
– The Soul
Body:
Exercise, Be Healthy, Sleep, Relax
Brain:
Learn, Read, Write
Soul:
Journal, Think, Pray
Heart:
Serve, Laugh, Be a Friend
–Exercise
–Sleep
–Eat healthy
–Relax
• You are what you eat.
• Be moderate and avoid extremes such as
extremely healthy or extremely unhealthy.
• Eat what makes your body react well.
• Food affects mood, so eat with
care.
• Have good sleeping habits
• Choose an activity that you enjoy doing.
• Try to get 30 minutes of exercise 3x/week
• Don’t get too obsessed with your appearance
• There are many successful people who do
not have perfect bodies
• It is more important to feel good physically
• If you struggle with an eating disorder, don’t
feel alone
• “You have to change your perception. It’s
not about weight, it’s caring for yourself
daily”
• Sharpen your mind
• Getting a good education may be the
most important thing you can do
• Develop brain power through schooling,
extracurricular activities, hobbies, jobs,
and other mind enlarging activities
• Read a newspaper everyday
• Travel
• Plant a garden
• Visit a library
• Write a story
• Solve puzzles
• Play an instrument
• debate
• Loosens up the mental gears and helps us
think more creatively
• Reduces stress levels
• It’s the brain’s natural pain killers
• Finding what deeply inspires you, finding
your inner self where your deepest
convictions and values are
• How to feed your soul
– Writing in a journal
– Serving others’
– Praying
– Listening to music
– Reflecting on your goals or mission statement
• Focus on the things that are most important
• Be conservative in Love and relationships
• Laughter
• Begin today to build your humor
• Teaching is a tough job, it is very easy
to feel overwhelmed by the relentlessness
of classroom interaction.
• Get physical
• Mental Fitness
• Social/Emotional connections
• Maintain the spiritual you
• Students learn more
• Develops student’s skills
• Students pay more attention
• Students gets passionate about their goals
of life.

  • 2. • Sometimes we are too busy to take time to do the things we need to do to keep fresh. • We need to regularly renew and strengthen 4 key areas – The Body – The Brain – The Heart – The Soul
  • 3. Body: Exercise, Be Healthy, Sleep, Relax Brain: Learn, Read, Write Soul: Journal, Think, Pray Heart: Serve, Laugh, Be a Friend
  • 5. • You are what you eat. • Be moderate and avoid extremes such as extremely healthy or extremely unhealthy. • Eat what makes your body react well. • Food affects mood, so eat with care. • Have good sleeping habits
  • 6. • Choose an activity that you enjoy doing. • Try to get 30 minutes of exercise 3x/week
  • 7. • Don’t get too obsessed with your appearance • There are many successful people who do not have perfect bodies • It is more important to feel good physically • If you struggle with an eating disorder, don’t feel alone • “You have to change your perception. It’s not about weight, it’s caring for yourself daily”
  • 8. • Sharpen your mind • Getting a good education may be the most important thing you can do • Develop brain power through schooling, extracurricular activities, hobbies, jobs, and other mind enlarging activities
  • 9. • Read a newspaper everyday • Travel • Plant a garden • Visit a library • Write a story • Solve puzzles • Play an instrument • debate
  • 10. • Loosens up the mental gears and helps us think more creatively • Reduces stress levels • It’s the brain’s natural pain killers
  • 11. • Finding what deeply inspires you, finding your inner self where your deepest convictions and values are • How to feed your soul – Writing in a journal – Serving others’ – Praying – Listening to music – Reflecting on your goals or mission statement
