2. Flashbacks
For the video we wanted the narrative to be an
old woman looking back on her life as a dancer.
To make this clear we started off our video with
the old woman in colour then switched to clips
of the dancer in black and white.
3. Dancer
The story shows the young dancer practising for
an audition and then going to the audition and
succeeding. This gives our video a clear narrative
and would engage the audience. The dance clips
are in black and white to show it is a flashback.
4. Artist
As our song ‘I Was Here’ is by Beyoncé we
wanted to include performance clips to break up
the narrative. The performance clips are shot in
different backgrounds with the artist wearing
different clothes and in colour to help clarify she
is not involved with the narrative.
