Ryan Harris created a bag design using Photoshop and Google. He used tools in Photoshop like the black and white tool, lasso tool, and history brush tool to edit images for his bag. Ryan searched Google for pictures to recreate and edited them in Photoshop by making them black and white, using the history brush tool to bring back color, and adjusting exposure and saturation. The front and back of the bag had unique, abstract designs that were strengths, while the sides were weaknesses as they were not as uniquely edited.

Report and evaluation of my bag
During the making of my bag I used a variety of programs such as Photoshop and Google.The tools I
used from Photoshop were the black and white tool, the lasso tool and the history brush tool. These
tools are very effective and easy to use. Before this I had never used Photoshop so every tool I had
used I had to experiment with all of them to find the tool that I wanted to use the most and the tool
that made my work look better. I adjusted all the colours until I found the perfect colour for my bag.
I used Google to find the perfect pictured for me to recreate. This helped me because there was a
big selection of pictures to choose from and they were mostly all related to what I searched for.
This is the original image I recreated to make it look more appealing, First of all I made the whole
image black and white, I did this by clicking on the “image” toolbar, then on “adjustments”, then
“black and white”. This made it easier to edit and adjust.

After that I used to history brush tool to bring back the original colour to some parts of the photo,
the history brush tool is located on the left of the screen on the side panel. Then I adjusted the
colours of the picture, I adjusted the exposure and the saturation of the image and cropped parts
out.
The strengths of my product were the front and back as I think they looked unique and abstract, I
took a lot of time on then and I think it was worth it. I was pleased with my bag as it was my first
time on Photoshop and I had to experiment with all the tools.
The weaknesses of my bag were the sides, they were both the same and they weren’t very unique as
I hadn’t edited them as much as the back and front of my bag. If I did my bag again I would use more
tools and spend more time on putting it together.
