According to a new report by Grand View Research Inc. the global HR industry is projected to reach US $30 Billion by
2025. The HR industry is witnessing lot of development, including the development due to the increased adoption of
technology in the hiring process. This can also be attributed to the smart use of people analytics in the hiring process
and the software systems that assist in making the HR team’s life easier.
Increased cloud deployment across all industries is expected to increase the demand for HRM solutions in the coming
months. Organizations will be using cloud technology for fulfilling modern HR functions at reasonable prices without
the headache of maintaining on-premise technology infrastructure.
But the growth in the industry will not be without its fair share of challenges. One such challenge is managing the rise

There is a growing debate amongst HR personnels about the effectiveness of an annual performance review.
Generally, it has been observed that there has been a dip in the employees’ performance once the review is

Employees in this current competitive recruitment field are finding strict schedules to follow and requiring to
work in the office a major restriction that hampers their productivity. Expect HR personnel's to allow flexible
schedules and work from home options to employees in the coming months. With the advantage of technology,
it is possible for the employees to remain in contact through emails and innovative tools which assist sharing

4. The emergence of blended workforce
On top of already increasing number of employees opting to work remotely, there is a growth of freelancers or
contracted employees. This has lead to the emergence of a blended workforce combining on-site and remote
employees working in conjunction with these so called gig workers. The major challenge for the HR personnel would

During the past year, there have been several corporate scandals that have sent shockwaves throughout the
business world. This has led for HR managers to increase their scrutiny towards sexual harassment policies. It is

and interact with job seekers.

Powered by machine learning and Natural Language Processing, Textio smartly analyzes millions of job postings and
recruiting outcomes to recognize the patterns that result in some posts getting greater success than others in terms

The Hirevue Video Intelligence platform aims to speed up the recruitment process by reducing reliance on CV and
combining video interviews with predictive, reliable I-O science and artificial intelligence.

13. Virtual and augmented reality will streamline HR functions
Virtual and augmented reality will smoothen the HR functions by giving a new dimension to the recruitment
