• The company may have expanded regionally as far as possible

• Great Bay Distributors needs to find a way to continue its’ rapid
growth
• Craft Breweries are growing in large numbers every year
• Expand the craft brewers department to aggressively obtain contracts
for distribution for all craft breweries

• More products and more contracts improve beer sales
• Distribution of the craft beer will encourage new breweries to work
with Great Bay
• Profits will rise

• Buy out other beer distributors
• Costly
• Not likely due to recent land and warehouse purchase

• Hire more employees to expand the craft brewers department
• Increase the number of salesmen in the department to seek out new
contracts
• Promote within the company to fill the new positions, hire entry level
workers to fill old positions

• New potential contracts are possible every year
• New contracts will limit the competition
• New beer options will keep the current accounts satisfied

• Loss of profit if the beer doesn’t sell
• Great Bay must hire new employees
• More products could lead a larger unobtainable workload
14. CALL TO ACTION
• Expand the craft brewers department of Great Bay Distributors to
gain more crafter brewers contracts
• Promote the employees within the company to the new positions
within the craft brewers department
• Hire entry-level employees to replace the promoted employees.
• Provide the current accounts with a low price on the newly acquired
beer so that they can keep their prices low to get customers to try the
product.
