 Skype is a software application and online service that
enables voice and video phone calls over the internet.
 It was founded in 2003.
 Skype is part of Microsoft.

3. Strengths
 Has many features including: calling, video, and
messaging
 Able to use on many devices such as computers,
mobile phones, and televisions
 Download is free!
 Talk to people all over the world
 Settings to private

4. Weaknesses
 The premium upgrade costs $4.99/month
 Child availability to computer and internet
 Also have to have a webcam unless camera built in
 Bad sound, audio, and picture quality

5. Opportunities
 Students can talk to other students around the world.
 Students can learn new information from others.
 Teachers can talk to other teachers.

6. Threats
 Anyone can send a contact request.
 Might not know who you are talking to.
