- What we are: interested in his topic, know it relates to most science centres and museums What weâre not: HR experts, intergeneration experts This intro is meant to spark your issues, and weâll be discussing, documenting, and getting them all out to you. After this overview, weâll hear from some of the generations, and a couple issues, and move into the Open Space Discussion.
- Law of 2 feet: if you are in a discussion, you are in with both feet.If you are not in, use those 2 feet to walk into another discussion you can jump both feet into.
- Invite session attendees to get up, stand in a giant circle, and write a topic on large chart paper that is of particular interest to them re: this topic and the information they just heard (ex. Appropriate use of text messaging, management style changes Yâers think boomers need to make, how IT should change to reflect Yâer values) 3. Once everyone has a chance to make their topics, we read them all aloud, and the open session begins. Participants move into discussions on those topics, and someone keeps notes. The law of 2 feet and 4 principals apply here.
