This document announces a continuing education program for nurses and social workers on palliative care for patients with dementia. The program will provide a brief history of palliative care, discuss the principles of palliative care and how they intersect with geriatric psychiatry and the role of palliative care for those with dementia, and include a case vignette and discussion. It will be presented by Dr. Maureen Ann Malin on October 17th from 8:30-10:30am at Meadow View Care and Rehabilitation.
