Cara describes her career as a continual search for meaning. With experience in the corporate world, teaching at Portland Community College, and as a spiritual teacher and healer, she has come to the realization that “wherever you work, there you are.” She views work as her spiritual practice and she speaks to educators, nurses, social workers and other professionals to help them bring mindfulness into their daily work.
