INDIAN FACE
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK ended flat, amid a choppy trading session, as investors turned cautious ahead of the expiry of September derivative contracts while the Supreme Court's decision on coal blocks weighed on select metal and power stocks.

State Bank of India board approves stock split
State Bank of India (SBI) has approved sub division of its shares following stock split announcement from other leading lenders like ICICI Bank, Punjab National Bank and Axis Bank.The board of directors of the bank, in a meeting on September 24, decided to reduce the face value of equity shares of the bank from Rs 10 per share to Re 1 per share and to increase the number of issued shares in proportion thereof.
Dr Reddys announces the launch Levalbuterol Inhalation Solution
Dr Reddy's Laboratories announced today that it has launch Levalbuterol Inhalation Solution, USP 0.31 mg/3 mL, 0.63 mg/3 mL, 1.25 mg/ 3 mL Unit-Dose Vials, a therapeutic equivalent generic version of XOPENEX (levalbuterol hydrochloride) inhalation solution in the US market on September 23, 2014, approved by the United States Food & Drug Administration.
SC cancels some coal blocks allocated since 1993
The Supreme Court, in a landmark judgment today, said that all coal blocks were cancelled except four government-run non-joint venture allotments. The apex court in an order today cancelled 214 allocated coal mines out of 218. The ruling sent shares of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd , Hindalco Industries and Tata Power sharply lower.
