The document summarizes usability testing conducted on the Crayola website. Participants included 2 children, 2 parents, and 1 teacher who were asked to complete tasks on the website and provide feedback. Testing found that most of the site was easy to use, but children had trouble printing coloring pages and one parent couldn't find educational games. The redesign aims to make printing clearer for children and ensure parents can access all interactive content.

10. 1. Summary
• Did the users clearly find what they intended to find as well did the participants like the
website, what could be improved, added, taken away, etc. to our website.
2. Participants
• The study comprises of sit down presentations of the website for those that were recruited
from the general public, but meet these criteria:

• 2 parents
• 1 teacher
3. Scenarios
• Children scenarios
• Navigate to the example coloring pages within the website
• One child did this no problem but the other had trouble finding the pages, need looking
into
• Print out the example coloring page
• Both children had trouble doing this, maybe add a little print scenario video within the
website to help children get the pictures they want to color
• Parents scenarios
• Navigate the website and find something educational for your child
• Both parents loved this and both found something educational for their child with ease, no
problems what so ever
• Navigate the website and locate the educational games
11. • One parent viewed this page no problem while the other had
trouble, maybe implement some line phrase of saying you have all
your programs up to date to view all games
• Teachers task examples
• Navigate the website to sells page and find products you would
wish to purchase
• The teacher found this page so very helpful, gave great review
4. Findings
• We found the majority of the site is ready for use but a few things
we could do would be to make it easier to find the print button and
maybe give a little tutorial picture, video on how to print off color
pages for children to use. We need to also implement somewhere
to make sure the parents know to have their computer updated to
the fullest to be able to view all interactive games, so their children
will be able to play all the available games.

18. Design Rational
1. Imagery used will be of parents, children, and
teachers using the product throughout the website.
2. The colors will be like the rainbow but mainly the
colors of the Crayola products.
3. Simple font for ease of readability, I wouldn’t want
anything crazy or cursive because that would be hard
to read.
4. I wouldn’t change much for the final project.
5. They are simple, clear, easy navigation, straight to the
point, and the colors are colorful for the product.
21. Rose Art
What Works
• Colorful
• Good Design
• Child Friendly
What Doesn’t
• Some text cut off
• Hard to read text
22. Design Deliverables
The website will be designed to promote the Crayola Products
and Branding of Crayola by:
• Detailed descriptions as well as pictures to display the
products.
• Promoting Educators by giving special discounts so they will
buy from Crayola.
• Promotes Parents by having easy access to fun activities for
their Children.
• Offer a way for both Parents and Teachers to review the
products and give feedback about the website for
improvement.
• Promotional Emails telling about the new products and
services offered by Crayola.
23. Conclusion
By having simple navigation as well has simple
layouts no one will have trouble navigating the
website and finding what they need in a simple 4
tab website. By showing off the products pictures
and artwork will bring in more people because
Parents and Educators both will ask themselves:
“How can I get my children engaged into something
like art and crafts?” and “Where can I buy these
locally?” All in all a simple, colorful, full of pictures
website is what Crayola needs to stand out among
the others out there.
