Competence:
Understands myths using material in an oral way to make a presentation.
Rationale: Currently , these days ss have to understand that myths were made up to used to
illustrate heroic behavior and It´s important for them to know it as a general culture.
Lesson Content:
Gives ss information about one of the greek Mythology “ Eros (cupid ) “
Instructional Procedures
Warm up :
T. will ask ss to brainstorm any information they might know about Greece and cupid.
Presentation :
T. will explain the origin of myths and then she will tell them the myth of
“Eros(cupid) “
Controlled practice:
T. will take them to lab room and she will ask them to type on the address bar

TIME

2. T. will ask ss to read the article and to answer the following questions on their
notebook.
What is the Greek name of Eros ?
What is the transliteration ?
What is the latin name ?
What is the meaning of the name ?
How does the poets and artists commonly called him in English ?
How was Eros often portrayed ?
Free Practice:
Ss will work in groups of 3 and they will write about Eros ´ story by making a comic .
SS will use this online program to create a comic. http://bitstrips.com/create/comic/ &
they will present it to the class.
Closure:
T will ask questions about the presentations to the ss to be sure they understood the
topic.
Feedback :
If ss are not cleared about the topic , T will clarify the topic next class.
Plan B :
Re-teach by doing a new activity.
T will ask a group of ss who did the best comic
T will present an incomplete Eros´ story by using a online comic . T will ask questions
and ask for some volunteers to help her to complete the comic.
Students participation :
Interaction with peers & oral presentations about Eros´ story.
Homework : Students will do research on a Greek god Eros (Cupid ) then invent their
own & create a comic by using the same online program.
Evaluation Procedures: While ss are working about the topic , T will observe them.
Materials and Aids: Lab room, internet & rubric.
