1. For my digi pack cover I am planning what photo to put on the front, I have got inspiration from
many different examples so I have explored different photos to see what looks best.
Many pop/charted artists use themselves on the cover of their digipack so I
have explored this approach. As the genre is alternative I have tried to keep
it different b only adding half of the model, adding a sense of mystery. I have
also added a lot of the background to make the photo and the digi pack
more interesting. I do like how this has turn out however I’m going to
explore of areas.
Due to the genre being alternative my digi pack cover is going to be different
to of genres, I chose this photo because it quite dark and I like how the model
is in the picture and the shadow is also included. The composition of the
photo is also good and useful, with her being in the centre allows me to be
creative and I can work around her. Also but the photo being dark I can use
bright fonts so it stands out more.
Looking at other digipack and specifically the album cover for the song I’m using
they use a scenery shot, I wanted to explore this, I like the dark colours as I am
then able to add a bright front over the top to make it stand out more. The
scene is also creepy and adds and atmosphere to it. I also think that it’s good
that this picture is a scene from a shot from the music video so the viewers can
relate.
Personally I like the second one the best out of these three however I might do I reshoot. I want to
do something different with the digi pack, as my genre in alternative this allows me to be different
with it.

From this it has helped me single down my decisions for my digipack cover. I now have other
peoples point of view and I have made a final decision that I want to go shoot some more photos so
I can explore more.
