A poll of Palestinians in June 2015 found that the top national goal for the next five years should be establishing a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital (32.3%), followed by ending Israeli occupation and settlements (22.4%). When asked about the realistic fate of Israel in 30-40 years, most Palestinians believed Israel would continue to exist (41.9%), while fewer thought it would be replaced by a single democratic state (20.1%). An even smaller percentage believed Israel would no longer exist in 100 years (9.1%), with most believing it would continue to exist (41.9%).
