• Will getting a dog over the summer bring
more happiness to my life?
• Is a pet dog the cause of happiness?

3. Hypotheses
• A pet dog, retrieved at a time in a person’s life
where he or she is stable, will add to the
observational happiness as well as personal
emotional happiness in his or her life.
• A person must be financially stable and rooted
to one area before he or she takes on the
responsibility of owning a dog.
