Reflections on the task.
Doing this assignment was helpful to accomplish the objectives of the
course and also to learn a little bit more about our future as teachers. Preparing a
test can help us to see the contents in a different way, to think as a teacher would
think and to reflect on the topic the text where about. And for this reason, the
knowledge is fixed in our minds easily. On the other hand, we could not only learn
about the contents of the course, but also practice on our evaluative skills. As
teachers, we will have to prepare this kind of material regularly, so it is better if we
train on our teaching skills as much as we can.
The topics of this assignment could not be more appropriate for us, not only
for our roll as teachers, but also as researchers. We will have to speak with all kind
of people in our lives, so we will have to cope with many accents and dialects,
which will depend on socio-economical and geographical background. And to
perform in English in a better way it is compulsory to master the dialect differences
as much as we can.
For the reasons above, we can uphold that this task was not only propitious
but also necessary to our development as students, future teachers and even as
academics.
