February 5,1915 Pennsylvania had begun
undercover scouting of cheap black labor
In May 1916 Fifteen thousand man, women
and children gathered around to watch a
Eighteen year old boy named Jesse Washington
as he got burned alive in Waco, Texas.
Many Blacks Moved from the south to northern
states like New York, Philadelphia and Detroit.

In the early 1930s nearly 2 out f every 3 colored
migrants came from towns or cities of the south
and went to the north and west.
In 1948 two whites beat a black tenant because
he asked for a receipt after paying his water
bill.
In 1958 a new segregated bus station was built
in Jacksonville, Florida.
