1. I will be adapting the “Uncharted” game series which was about an explorer that
went to the most hidden locations to discover lost treasures from hundreds of
years ago but it is illegal to do this, he is constantly hiding from police and other
types of crime solvers, but he is not the only explorer looking for the treasures…
I want to turn this into a Television show but I want it to be based before the
game. Because as a teenager I loved the game series, I believe it deserves to be
recreated in a different way. For the television show I must pay attention to the
locations for example, caves and hidden islands and more, in the game series he
always runs into some sort of ancient traps that he must solve puzzles for, for
this I would need props and research ancient traps for a few ideas.
Introducing the characters I would want for the TV show, for the Main Character
Nathan Drake, I want to cast Steven Yuen who is known for his role as Glen in
AMCs The Walking Dead, although he obviously doesn’t look like the Game series
version of Nathan Drake, I believe he would fit the part as he plays a smart type
of explorer in The Walking Dead. For Elena Fisher I would want to cast Elizabeth
Olsen as she looks similar and also has a similar body type and she has
experience with big movies and would attract an audience for the show, although
the show would be big anyway as the game series is huge.

2. The budget of the TV show will be limited at first but that’s okay because they
wont be much need for CGI or major special effects, the most extreme things I
would need is stunts and special effects for gun shots, but most of the show will
be based on story and drama. The treasures that the show will be including in
the story are real hidden or missing treasures including Tokugawas buried
treasure, which was allegedly lost in 1868. Although most of the missing
treasures are Legends, in the show they will be brought to life.
The legal and ethical issues will be like any other TV show or movie such as
things like copyright and make sure there is no racial issues through the show
and if there is any advertisement of a product of any type, you must have
permission to show the product. For example if we use music we need to obtain
the rights to use it, it also goes for products and brands.
The audience for my TV show would be primarily people that played the game
series and that consists of mostly male but some female of around 15-25 years of
age. My secondary audience would be people that enjoy mystery solving and
treasure type TV shows or are interested in that topic. The socio economic
grouping would be D-C1 as it would be mostly young adults/teens.
