Introduced sound project management principles to the organization including: earned value, cross functional risk management, fully loaded project schedules, and change control processes. Span of control and development portfolio over three continents: North America, Europe, and Asia.  <br />Developed long range product strategy supporting product life cycle processes:  As Manager of Product Strategy at Sprint Nextel, developed the long range products and services vision that provided guidance across the entire portfolio of 320 products and services, ensuring more coordinated life cycle management across vertical product lines.  Developed supporting product planning process discipline to manage individual product lifecycles and provide a top down portfolio plan for product evolution and emerging products.<br />Identified new revenue streams: As Product Manager – Enterprise Messaging, developed the enterprise messaging strategy and deployed systems to support enterprise customer growth.  Developed strategy for Emergency Alerts and Commercial CMAS (Commercial Mobile Alerts Service).  As Senior Program Manager, built and maintained relationships between Sprint, device manufacturers, and Sprint’s current and prospective international carrier partners.  Managed various projects between Sprint and its international partners to enable the commercial launch of wireless devices on partner networks. Redefined the direction of the program to pursue a recurring revenue stream, and increased annual revenue from under $1M to $14.5M in one and a half years.<br />Acted as an industry catalyst:  As Product Manager, acted as industry liaison and key catalyst to develop messaging interoperability for SMS (Short Message Service) in the U.S. and internationally.  Continued to drive interoperability opportunities between carriers, resulting in the development of interoperable “short codes” allowing large polling, voting, and advertising applications to grow exponentially.   Annual product line revenues grew from under $10M to over $800M over five years.<br />Skills: Exceptionally strong written and verbal skills.
