In order to fully support and sustain the practice of open
scholarship, libraries themselves must invest in the critical
components of the open scholarly environment and ensure
them to grow and prosper. For it is only in such an
environment that libraries will be able to see knowledge be
easily accessed, openly shared, accurately reproduced, and
appropriately reused, just as they desire.
