My name is Robert Logan and I have worked as Field Service Engineer for over 20yrs
In 2011 I made the decision that it was time to break out on my own and I became self
employed. My idea was simple I would take all the experience of working in various
industries over the last 20 plus years and start my business offering my expertise in all
of these fields.
What does this mean to you?
Running a fleet of Engineers is expensive there are times when you have them on
your payroll and you simply don’t have sufficient workload for them you are paying
Salary + Benefits Running cost of a vehicle, Sick pay, Holiday Pay, Tax, National
Insurance and many more hidden costs. Scotland is a particularly difficult place to
service large spread out areas mean long distance driving between cities and a high
fuel bill for you especially if you have to send your engineers from south of the border.
What I am offering is simple Availability as and when you need it whether it’s a day
at a time, week at a time, month at a time, ongoing contract I can give you complete
flexibility and having the experience of many years in field service industries you can
be sure when you engage us any work will be completed to your satisfaction.
Why Not use an Agency for temporary staff?
A good Question an agency will provide you with an endless resource of Engineers.
However you will have NO CONTROL over the quality of engineers supplied they
will not be answerable to you or anyone else. You will pay over the odds for staff to
these agencies who will pay their contractors a much smaller and often unfair daily
rate the result being that the contractor feels disgruntled and has no interest in what
your customer thinks of your business he will simply take his daily rate and move on
to the next contract and when the complaints come in what can you do you decide not
to use that agency again but will the next one be any better.

We are a very small company looking to expand, But don’t let that worry you this is

2. as stated I have over 20 years experience this means I have 20 years worth of contacts
with skills equal to or better than my own. For larger contracts I can hand pick the
people I work with people with the necessary skills and with similar ethics to my own
people who I can trust and people I know will not let me down. In turn you will have

customers and reputation ME.
Latest Project
The latest project which I am
involved in is the installation of
digital signage in Premier Inn
restaurants through various other
companies. My contact is Ace

reference. My role in this contract is
the installation of the centre screen
and supply & termination of cabling
to main screen and also to screens in
overhead signage supplied and fitted
by a third party sign company all this
is connected to a pc installed in an AV cabinet elsewhere in the building and connected
to existing network equipment the installation of the AV Cabinet, PC and all associated
cabling is part of my role. I have also been involved in projects removing & upgrading
IT equipment and internet terminals from Premier Inn Hotels and Restaurants.

So how does it all work?
Simple! You secure a contract to
install or maintain equipment which
is supplied by you or your client you are in the position to organise and oversee the
project from start to finish you have sites up and down the UK but you don’t have
enough engineers to service all areas. This is where I come in! You agree with your
client a procedure of what has to be completed onsite, their IT department or yours
creates a script of steps to be completed in order to achieve a complete & successful
installation. In order to address any issues we may encounter you will have provided
us with contact details of relevant people within your IT department we will

3. endeavour to resolve any issues and do not just blindly follow your script. Should any
in house training be necessary within your premises this will be at your expense ie
Travel & Accommodation etc. We are happy to work independently or alongside your
engineers.
