A Turbomachine is a
device in which energy
transfer occurs
between a flowing fluid
and the rotating
element due to dynamic
action resulting in
change in pressure and
momentum of fluid.

pressure.

independent of the vibration of the

common.
• But today turbine of more than 250
MW are available with the industries.

modern turbines.
