Bluefin Labs is a social TV analytics company providing solutions to brands, advertising agencies, and TV networks. The company’s initial product, Signals Network Edition, is used by over 40 of the largest TV networks in the US. In April 2012, the company launched Signals Brand Edition, the first social TV analytics product built for brands. Bluefin Labs is the most widely-used and most-cited source of social TV data. The technology behind Bluefin Labs is grounded in 15 years of cognitive science and machine learning research at the MIT Media Lab.
