2.How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
We Crossed our ancillary and main product By keeping to a ‘Notebook/Journal’ theme, we obtained this by the frequency of fonts
We also inter-linked the theme with choice of background
And the images and diagrams
      We had these images arranged on a scrap book, to give it a ‘Notebook’ feel. In order to    appeal to our target Audience of peers and young adults wefeatured Sketches of the band members from
As well as Photo’s (to abide by the conformity of real products), which we induced as though to be ‘taped’ in
We kept the conformity of the two pieces by using the same images for both the sketches and the waterpastel images
We added a website to the poster and DigipakAlongwith the ‘Itunes’ and ‘Hmv’ logos to appeal to the new web 2.0 audience along with those who still prefer a hardback copy.
There are no obscene featuresof our product hereforei believe it would be possible to appeal to a greater audience as there will be no  restrictions in where we will be able to place the poster.

We decided to photograph the background for our poster and Digipak Using a bird’s eye-view angle of lined paper,
This was toSubdue the affect of the theme, for which we created the cover and back to the digipak ourselves on cs4 photoshop.
When creating the products, the main thing we needed to look into was the idea of genre conventions
Taking the genre : punk/pop-punk
We researched into the main concepts of the genre, and the market respectively
We found the main features and conventions included, videos where the band and possible fans mess about and have fun, also we found some where they took conventional aspects of life and do a spoof

And Most punk videos tend to work around the idea of high school and   college
We took this and made it our own we interlinked the music video and ancilliary products by taking the idea of school and college friom which we got the idea of a notebook
Another feature that we ensured was used across the forms of media was the emphasis on the main song and the related album.
Another similar feature that we used across the two forms of media is the idea of ‘homemade’ feel. Within the video we used a few shots of the artist and sequene using handheld shots,
This then links with the Digipak as we designed the piece to look as though it was an actual sketch/notebook.
