But, where does that leave your older apps like WCF services which need to run on Windows? The good news is you can bring them along to Kubernetes too, running them in Windows Docker containers. This slidedeck gives you a fast introduction to the basics - Windows containers, Dockerfiles, and the Kubernetes YAML syntax. You'll see how to take a WCF app from 2008 and run it in Kubernetes on Azure with no code changes, taking advantage of all the benefits of a container platform.

Tracing the root cause of a performance issue requires a lot of patience, experience, and focus. It’s so hard that we sometimes attempt to guess by trying out tentative fixes, but that usually results in frustration, messy code, and a considerable waste of time and money. This talk explains how to correctly zoom in on a performance bottleneck using three levels of profiling: distributed tracing, metrics, and method profiling.
