Bad points the text is not clear, it doesn't stand out- needs to be more e.g bold, brighter colour This magazine is a rock genre- you see this because of the images use, the people in the main image look bored/moody and it is aimed at both genders. the sell lines are different colours; red, orange, yellow, green.. not colour co-ordinated its is the first issue of the magazine but it is not attracting the reader much and the main article is not clear, you cant tell which is the main article doesn't have barcode, price no freebies it doesnt say what page the articles are on

8. main image takes over the whole front cover, with all the writing on top of it, exept the title- attracts 'my chemical romance' fans main image at a low angle looking up a the person wearing black clothes n and looks like he is on stage because of the lights behind him. the image looks as if it was taken from a live show title is in capitals and red- makes it stand out from the black background and it says something under it - possibly the sell line in grey white and red writing with block this tells us what else is inside so people find it interesting and buy it small images look like photo's that are stuck onto the magazine - it grabs the audience's attention as it looks like its a new photo on top of the title there is a sell line that says 'superstars of rock issue' and has stars on the sides- it looks like a logo and apeals to aspirers and looks like the photographer was in the front row of the audience- this makes readers feel as if they themselves are in the concert and attract them more the photographer looks like he is in the front row of the crowd and makes the readers feel as if they themselves are in the concert and might buy the magazine especially if they like live concert
9. This magazine is a metal rock magazine and you can see this because the colour scheme is mainly black with red. The logo of the magazine is big and red and in capitals this shows how important it is and makes it stand out.. However the main image is on top of the title, this shows that its is recognisable even if you can’t see part of it. There is a graphic feature- a yellow circle that says ‘WORLD EXCLUSIVE’ the yellow colour is in contrast to the black writing and makes it stand out more and ‘world exclusive’ sounds like this is an important issue because it relates to the whole world. The main headline/buzz word ‘’the black parade is dead’ is familiar to My Chemical Romance fans as it is the name of their album and there is the band name and main picture next to it in case people are not familiar. The sell line ‘THE SECRET LIFE OF PATRICK STUMP’ sound appealing especially to his fans as they want to know his secret life and what he does. this magazine looks as if its main target audience are 16-29 year old males because of the images and conventions. e.g’stadium busters’ The magazine also includes a free CD with it which is a common merchandise that is given away in music magazines. The sell lines/ names of the bands inside the issue are bold white and red and on red or white solid blocks. (anchorage text) There is a barcode, price, issue, date released The only bad point for this front cover is that there is a lot of empty space on the bottom left.

Organisation of actors,locations,costumes or props For my main image and article I wanted to do a indie rock band so I decided to take pictures of a band together playing music and just posing for the camera. i first wrote down what I needed, then I wrote who would fit into it.
