Title: Good Effects of Drinking Coffee on Teenagers
Abstract: Moderate coffee consumption, or about one to two cups a day, may have health
benefits for teenager. Coffee may also make teenagers feel more alert. According to (LESLIE
BECK 2010) Coffee may be linked to a decrease in Type 2 diabetes risk, as well as protection
against liver cancer and Parkinson’s disease. Coffee contains antioxidants that control the
destruction of a cell that contributes to the evolution of the disease.
Caffeine has been the stimulant of sociability for teenagers in this century” (Anderson 2005:
125). Much of teenagers social life occurs in seating at a cafeterias, coffee shops, and cafes, all

drinking coffee will give interesting insight into today's teenager’s culture of coffee consumption
as it seems to play such an important role in their daily life. Coffee is actually one of the
healthiest beverages billions of people consume regularly.

increase up to 30% in metabolic rate. • Coffee with exercise when taking 300mg averages a 20%
increase in energy and fatigue while burning fat increased 107% greater than without caffeine. •
Caffeine in coffee keeps our brains alert and receptive of new information. • Regular
consumption of coffee decreases the risk of type II diabetes and many other health risks.
People who drink coffee are more alert earlier in the day, and there have been studies that prove
people actually learn more and retain information better after drinking coffee.

culture and different ethnicity and different races. Our target age groups are from the
age of (13- to 25).

feels more pressure dealing with a lot of challenges that comes with school and work
related issues. We observed and surveyed on groups of in their early twenties who are
just starting work, we did observed and surveyed on college students that a lot of
burden that comes with school related issues.
We make use of random sampling technique, Because we want to make sure
everybody is able to take part in this research for us to get accurate results of the
reason and to be able to reduce the biasness that comes with none randomized
Sampling.
Research Methods
Our research methods will include participant observation as well as Survey that will be
distributed to subjects. Many of the questions being asked will be open-ended, with plenty of
room for comments in order to gather as much information from our subject pool as possible and
get a general understanding of each demographic. We will most use survey for us to really see
the correlation of why people take coffee and what is their beliefs towards taking coffee and how
do they feel after taking their coffee.
