Set of formulae Google uses to rank the
resulting Web pages from a user's query.
Google's algorithm searches out Web pages
that contain the keywords user used to search,
then assigning a rank to each page based
several factors, including how many times the
keywords appear on the page. The best links
relating to search query are theoretically the
first ones Google lists.
3. • Hummingbird is introduced in September 2013.
• The name ‘Hummingbird’ comes from its ability of being
“precise and fast” and it is designed to better focus on
meaning of a phrase or keyword rather than individual
keywords.
• Hummingbird is paying more attention to each word in a
query, ensuring that the whole query , the whole
sentence or conversation or meaning is taken into
account, rather than particular words.
