Vision Statement
To ensure that the Arts, in its forms in all their
diversity and plurality, are nurtured and valued
because they enrich individual and public life and are
critical to envisioning the future of our society.
Mission Statement
To enrich the practice and knowledge of, widen
public access to, and strengthen capacities in the
arts in India, through arts education, research and
innovative performance.
Aims
• To create an understanding and appreciation of
traditional arts and culture; of the world as a whole.
• To support, nurture and nourish and encourage
emerging artists, performers creative individuals.
• To perpetuate and strengthen the cultural roots of
the emerging generation of India.
• To help young Indians appreciate Indian performing
and fine arts through participatory activity.

environment for the preservation and development of
the artistic and cultural expressions.
• To create profound opportunities for connecting
youngsters to artists, in both education and
performance.
• To conduct research activities in the Arts.
ON GOING COURSES:
THEATRE CLASSES:
3 Years course (for students of Std. V – X)
Pre-cerfitificate course in Theatre (for students of std.4)
Duration: 1 yrs
Mentors: Well-known theatre personalities like
Rupali Bhave & Anand Chabukswar
(July to February)
(At the end of 3 years course, students will receive a Certificate)
Fees: Pre-certificate-Rs.4000/-,
Certificate course-1styear- Rs.5000/-, 2nd
year-Rs.6000/, 3rd
year- Rs.7500/-
Carnatic music Classes :
Mentor: Artist – Well-known singer Mrs. Nandini Gujar
Age: 10 yrs and above
Fees: Rs.8000/-p.a.(1st
year)
Rs.10000/- p.a.(2nd
year)
New courses:
Learn West African Drums (Djembe):
Mentors: Expert drumers from well-known institute ‘Taal-inc’.
Age limit: 8-15 yrs
Duration: 1 year (July to February)
Fees: 10000/-p.a.
Western Dance (Hiphop,contemporary, Jazz):
In association with Mrudang Dance academy.
Age limit: Std. 7-8
Duration: 1 year (July to February)
Fees: Rs.10000/-
(At the end of the year, students will receive a Certificate)
 Experience China: (Language and culture)
Mentor: Yeh China Institute
Age limit: 8-12 yrs & 13 yrs and above
Rs.8500/- & Rs.10000/- respectively as per age group
(At the end of the year, students will receive a Certificate)
 Helen O’ Grady English speech course:
(public speaking/communication skills in English):
(Age limit : 5 yrs to 12 yrs)
Fees: Rs.5500/- p.a.
(July to February)
(At the end of the year, students will receive a Certificate)
Yearly workshop:
April workshop :
Kaveri kalavardhini Prayogshala
Dedicated to enrichment of school students in the
field of Arts. It’s a 5 day workshop where students
are exposed to various wellknown artists to
understand the nuances of the Artform.
Age limit: 8 – 16 yrs
(Dates and details will be on the website)
4 Small workshops in association with ‘Art for
Heart’ ( Indian traditional & folk arts)
Age limit: 10 yrs and above
Duration: 3 hours
(Dates and details will be on the website)
2 MAJOR EVENTS IN A YEAR
Objective: To promote various Art forms
Fees: Rs.500/- (for adults)
∗ Rs.300/- (for school students)
∗Membership passes will be available at Kannada Sangha office
after 15th
June. 2017.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
Admission Process for all courses:
1)Forms will be available at Kannada Sangha office
from 15th
June.
2) Please submit dully filled forms alongwith cheque
at Kannada sangha office.
3)Cheque should be drawn in the name of ‘Kannada
Sangha’.
4)Last date for admission is 30th
June,2017
5)All the courses will start in the first week of July.

It’s a 5 day workshop where students are exposed to various wellknown artists to understand the nuances of the Artform.
