INTRODUCTION
 Ezaz-e-Niswan Development
  Organization(EDO) is a non profitable
  organization dedicated to empowerment of
  marginalized and deprived Women through
  education, skills and economic uplift.
 Thus through enhancement of capacity
  building, women would play an important
  role in society, both socially and
  economically.
EMERGENCE OF THE ORGANIZATION
   Human kind has always inclined towards the lower end.
    Hence the need was felt to empower women in the society.
   Being more than half of the population of pakistan women
    have never been allowed to enjoy equal political,
    economical and social opportunities.
    Discriminatory laws such as Hadood Ordinance, Qisas,
    Diyyat and law of evidence as well as other customary
    practies such as karo Kari,vanni, punchayat /jirga system ,
    Marriage with Quran and exchange marriages generally
    determine women is continously increasing and access to
    justice is always limited if not denied.
   These violations impair and nullify women’s right to their
    personal freedom.
VISION

   Recognition of women as equal human beings
    in the society.
MISSION

   Women to play an active role in the family for
    social and economic uplift.
GOAL

   Struggle for participatory role of
    women in the society.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
   EDO intends to dignify women in the society. Appended
    hereunder are the aims and objectives of the organization;
   To promote education mong women and children so that in future
    they may become part of a dynamic leadership.
   To struggle for the economic uplift of women and families through
    the expansion of micro finance schemes.
   To facilitate improvement of basic health condition through the
    sustainable services of voluntary health workers.
   To enable women to achieve political participation and
    involvement in decision making process in society.
   To build solidarity and a spirit of sisterhood among women of
    other faiths so as to promote peaceful co-existence, justice and
    healing.
   To raise awareness about human rights, gender inequality and
    environmental issues.
METHODOLOGY
   In order to achive its objectives, EDO would
    work by having grassroots
    meeting, workshop, seminars, interactive
    theaters, demonstration, networking and use of
    media(publications on the issues in national
    magazines and newspapers).In continuation to
    its efforts the EDO would conduct fat-finding
    visits and compile research
    material, publications etc and organization
    signature compaigns and peaceful protests on
    the serious issues affecting women.
