3. INTRODUCTION
In communication system there are 2 types of technology:-
Wired Communication .
Wireless Communication.
Wireless Communication :-
Transmitting & Receiving data wirelessly.
Electromagnetic waves & Acoustic waves.
Factors affecting Electromagnetic waves :
1.Multipath propagation
2.Small bandwidth
4. While wireless communication technology today has become part of our daily life.
Research has been active.
By using this wireless communication technology we can find underwater
information.
Radio waves do not propagate with water.
Underwater communication are characterized by large propagation delay.
Acoustic waves have low bandwidth.
It increases human knowledge and understanding of the world’s oceans
The major discoveries of the past decades.
8. Working
8051 Microcontroller: Input from Diode, Battery, asm /c program, laser.
Power supply: Generates constant power for 8051 microcontroller.
HT12E: It is an encoder integrated circuit. It is mainly used in interfacing RF and
infrared circuits.
RF module Tx & Rx: 433 MHz RF transmitter and receiver modules, small in
dimension.
Motor Driver: The L293 and L293D are quadruple high-current half-H drivers. It
generates upto 600mA at 4.5V to 36V.
Laser module: It produces a laser beam when current flows through the diode.
9. Description
Microcontroller:
Low power
High-performance
It is manufactured using Atmel’s high-density non volatile memory technology
RF Module:
RF modules are 433 MHz RF Transmitter and Receiver modules.
Rx supply current: 3.5mA
Rx IF frequency: 1MHz
Wireless Camera:
It transmit video & audio signal through radio band
They are of two types:
• Analog wireless camera
• Digital wireless camera
10. DC Motors:
A DC motor is an electric motor that runs on direct current (DC) electricity.
It’s operation is based on simple electromagnetism.
RF encoder HT12E:
Operating voltage is 2.4V~12V for the HT12E.
HT12A/E: 18-pin DIP/20-pin SOP package.
Low standby current: 0.1_A (typ.) at VDD=5V.
Diodes(1N4007):
Diodes are used to convert AC into DC these are used as half wave rectifier or full wave
rectifier.
11. Input & Output Specification
Transmitter:-
The output of the power supply which is 5v is connected to 20th pin of MC.
Mirocontroller is connected to set of push button.
Push buttons are Backward, Stop, Forward, Left, Right push buttons
MC is also connected to the encoder HT12E.
Receiver:-
MC is connected to HT12D Decoder
MC are connected to L293D.
L293D are given to Motor 1 and 2.
pins 3 and 6 of 2nd L293D are given to Motor 3.
MC is connected to Transistor Q1 that drives laser
14. Application
Environmental Monitoring To Gathering Of Oceanographic Data
Marine Archaeology
Search And Rescue Missions
Defence
Pollution Control.
Climate Recording.
Ocean Monitoring .
Detection Of Objects On The Ocean Floor Are Other Areas.
